One thing I’ve come to understand is that people would always talk about you, whether you do good or bad. They really don’t care whether their notion of you is right or wrong, all they wanna do is get a PhD in gossiping about you and probably be the talk host.
This same person would always be present when you’re going through your toughest time and would even console you to give you hope and yet go about making a mockery of you like you don’t amount to anything.
But you know what? Get a hold on yourself! Don’t let all that determine who you are because you’re not who they say you are. People are of course allowed to have a definition of you from their own perspectives but don’t let their opinion of you become your reality because it doesn’t count, well not until you make it count. And know that you don’t have to live by what they call you.
People are allowed to have a conversation about you behind you but that shouldn’t weigh you down. It happens and will continue to happen, I mean, yours can’t be an exception.
Know what you’re doing and let what you’re doing know you as well.
Stay blessed.
P.s: If you also are a victim of gossip, forming opinions about others… Quit it now so you don’t end up regretting later in life.

‘all they wanna do is get a PhD in gossiping’ , nothing but the truth.

I tell you. Since they so much derive joy in it, what’s left is for them to have such degree in it.
