Amidst everything going on in my country (Nigeria) right now.
This is the second week of demonstrations against police brutality which started online and have spread to the streets of cities across Nigeria and abroad, including London and Berlin.
The protests initially called for the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (Sars), a police unit widely accused of extortion, torture and extra-judicial killings.
However following an announcement by President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday that the unit would be dissolved, protesters have called for further reforms, including compensation for the families of victims and better funding for the police.
The thing is those that have been affected and died already can’t be brought back to life but what can we do? We that are still alive should equally thank God for our own lives and continue praying for our dear nation.
We must pray until something happens and thank God for those already taking that step. It is high time God took over our nation. Enough is enough with the devil toying with out emotions. It is time we say, no more to those who doesn’t want this nation to move forward. We’re tired of staying on one spot. Let us fight in prayers for the peace of our fatherland and all shall be well with us.

Good words and it is a worldwide problem. Too many needless deaths. Prayer to end evil in the word and that God and Light fill our Earth so everyone can move on. I see many good posts about Nigeria and young people who are now self-made success they need a chance to grow more. Blessings to you
